Classic Halloween Porch Leaner Workshop with Tracy Rose

Create Something Spooky, Beautiful and Completely Yours

There is something magical about October in Marine City.

Cooler evenings. Fall colors. The river. Downtown lights. And just enough Halloween energy in the air to make an ordinary Friday night feel a little different.

On Friday, October 9, Riverside Gypsy invites you inside The Mariner for a Classic Halloween Porch Leaner Workshop with Tracy Rose.

And this is not a little canvas painting.

You will be creating your own 4-foot wooden Halloween porch leaner designed to make a statement beside your front door, on your porch, or in your favorite welcome space.

Paint with Tracy Rose

Tracy Rose will guide you through the painting process step by step in the warm, encouraging style that makes her classes so much fun.

You do not need painting experience.

You do not need to consider yourself artistic.

Everything you need is waiting for you when you arrive.

Just choose your seat, settle into the experience and watch a plain wooden board transform into a classic Halloween piece you will be proud to display.

Tracy will reveal the final classic Halloween design in the discussion section of our Facebook Event as we get closer to the workshop.

Make a Night of Marine City

For our local community, this is the perfect excuse to call your friends and plan a Friday night together.

But you do not have to live here to join us.

Marine City welcomes people from throughout Michigan and beyond who come to watch the freighters, explore the St. Clair River, visit downtown, camp near Algonac State Park and experience our river community.

If you are visiting the area, make this part of your Marine City night.

Explore downtown.

Grab dinner.

Watch a freighter move along the river.

Then step inside The Mariner and spend the evening creating something you can take home and enjoy throughout the Halloween season.

It is more than a souvenir.

It is something you made here.

Come with Friends or Come by Yourself

Bring your partner.

Bring your mom.

Bring your best friend.

Bring the whole creative crew.

Or come on your own.

Riverside Gypsy Stage Events are built around creativity, community and connection. You do not need to already know someone in the room to belong there.

Sometimes the best evenings begin simply by deciding to try something different.
