Haunted Gingerbread House Decorating Night

Build It. Decorate It. Haunt It.

Take one of the sweetest holiday traditions, give it a Halloween makeover, and spend the evening creating your very own edible haunted house.

On Saturday, October 24, Riverside Gypsy is bringing Haunted Gingerbread House Decorating Night to the historic stage at The Mariner.

And these are not store-bought kits.

Our event host will be baking the gingerbread house pieces from scratch before the event so every registered guest has everything waiting when they arrive.

Then it is your turn.

Build the house.

Break out the icing.

Pile on the candy.

Make it creepy, colorful, ridiculous, beautiful, haunted, or somewhere in between.

There is no correct haunted house.

The fun is seeing what yours becomes.

Everything needed for the project is included.

There are no additional decorating add-ons to purchase.

Family Night, Girls Night or Date Night

This event was intentionally created to work for a lot of different people.

Bring the family.

Grab your best friends.

Plan a Halloween date night.

Bring your mom.

Or come ready to create beside somebody new.

If a child is participating, a parent or guardian must remain with them and help with the project.

The accompanying adult does not need another ticket unless they would like to create a separate haunted house.

Make It a Fall Night in Marine City

Coming from Metro Detroit, the southern Thumb, St. Clair County, Algonac, or farther away?

Come early.

Explore downtown Marine City.

Grab dinner or coffee.

Watch the freighters along the St. Clair River.

Visit the shops.

Then finish the night on the historic stage at The Mariner building a haunted gingerbread house from scratch.

Marine City has that Hallmark-movie kind of small-town atmosphere.

We're just making this particular Saturday a little spookier.
